Diane Marie Smith

Ms. Diane Marie Smith, 65, of Hagerstown, died early Saturday morning, August 22, at Doey’s House, Hospice of Washington County.

Born August 6, 1961, in Hagerstown, she was a daughter of Ralph F. and the late Donna Lee Robison Smith. She was a 1979 graduate of Williamsport High School.

In addition to her father, she is survived by two sisters, Shelly A. Smith and husband Dan of Fairplay, and Judy L. Lewis of Fairplay; her niece Heather Williams and husband Jarren of Martinsburg, West Virginia; nephew Ryan Smith and companion Sydniy of Fairplay; by two grandnieces and a grandnephew; and her best friend Kim Moore and husband Tony of Hagerstown; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Being an animal lover, Diane leaves behind four cats, Spencer, Sage, Skittles and Itsy.

The family wishes memorial contributions made in Ms. Smith’s name to Hospice of Washington County, 1710 Underpass Way, Suite 300, Hagerstown, Maryland 21740, to benefit Doey’s House; or to Lucky’s Legacy Rescue, 962 Mount Aetna Road, Hagerstown, Maryland 21740, to benefit the rescue and adoption of cats and dogs.
