Fern Cunningham

Mrs. Fern Weidhorn Cunningham, 66, of Smithsburg, died Saturday evening, June 11, 2022, at her residence.  She was the wife of Mr. Joseph Joachime Cunningham, her husband of 41 years.

Born November 17, 1955, in Brooklyn, New York, she was the daughter of Albert and Irene Weidhorn.

She was a member of Congregation B'Nai Abraham, Hagerstown.

Fern was a loving grandmother; and a cancer survivor.

Surviving, besides her husband is her daughter, Jacklyn S. Betke and husband Alexander of Falling Waters, West Virginia; step-daughter Maureen Cunningham of Austin, Texas; and her grandchildren Ethan, Abigail, Kaitlyn and Emma.

Besides her parents, Mrs. Cunningham was preceded in death by her brother, Jeffery Weidhorn.

The Andrew K. Coffman Funeral Home, Hagerstown, is assisting the family with arrangements.  Services will be held graveside on Wednesday, June 15, at 11:00 AM, at B'Nai Abraham Cemetery, 17517 Virginia Avenue, Hagerstown, with Rabbi Mark J. Perman officiating.
