Mrs. Linda Lou Baker Brown, 80 of Martinsburg, West Virginia, died Saturday evening, October 25, 2025, at Hospice of the Panhandle, Kearneysville, West Virginia. She was the wife of the late Charles Taylor Brown who died in 2020.
Born February 28, 1945, in Martinsburg, she is a daughter of the late James Howard and Dorothy Virginia Linton Baker. She graduated from Saint Joseph High School, Martinsburg; and was of the Catholic faith.
Linda had worked with Royce Hosiery Mill, Martinsburg.
She enjoyed spending time at her river property, often taking boat rides. She also enjoyed her family, especially attending the little league games and football games of her grandchildren.
Surviving are her children, Tracey Brown, Charles B. Brown, Kimberly Barrett and husband Shawn, and Michelle Brown, all of Martinsburg; her grandchildren Kesha Deagro and husband Anthony Deagro, Brandon Barrett, Trenton Barrett, Aaron Pierson, Chelsea Brown, and Kaylee Miller and husband Zach Miller; and great grandchildren, Liam, Brennan, Jace, and Kaisen; and sisters Joyce Luber of Winchester, Virginia, Sherry Heck of Martinsburg and Gloria Glesner and husband Larry of Spring Mills, West Virginia; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her husband and parents, Linda was preceded in death by a grandson, Bradley Brown, in 2024, and by brothers Terry and James Baker.
The Andrew K. Coffman Funeral Home, Hagerstown, is assisting the family with private arrangements.
