Randal Joseph Brice

Mr. Randal "Randy" Joseph Brice, 66, of Frederick, passed away early Friday morning, April 26, 2024, at George Washington University Hospital, Washington, District of Columbia.

 

Born December 14, 1957, in Frederick, he was a son of the late Maxine Elizabeth Sunday Naugle.  He graduated from Catoctin High School, Thurmont.


Randy was a skilled carpenter & framer by trade and spent 30 years with Wormald Homes, Frederick; and later worked with Royal Renovations, Thurmont, the business of his late friend, Roy Beverage.

 

As a young man he developed a love of music and began playing the bass guitar which led to playing in local bands and live shows..

Randy would want to be remembered by his dedication and love of being a father.

Surviving is his daughter, Michelle T. Brice of Hagerstown, and Nicole Brice of Delaware;  several grandchildren including Trenton Johnson of Charlottesville, Virginia; half-sons William Badoni and Arlon Powaukee, both of Idaho; siblings, Doug Seiss of Rocky Ridge, Travis Brice of Frederick, Kathy Brice of Charlottesville, and Mitchell Brice of Florida; as well as his sister-in-law, Belma Hill of Hagerstown; nephews Willy Perisien and wife Kendra of Hagerstown, and Joe Perisien of Frederick; and former spouse Bobbi Volkmar of Kansas.


Randy will also be remembered by his close friend Karen Canino.

 

Besides his parent, Randy was preceded in death by his step-father, Fred Naugle.

 

The Andrew K. Coffman Funeral Home, Hagerstown, is assisting the family with arrangements.  Services will be at the convenience of the family.
