Richard C. Snyder, 63, of 14014 Marsh Pike, Hagerstown, died Monday, March 26, 2012, at NMS Health Care of Hagerstown.
Born April 30, 1948, in Hagerstown, he was a son of the late Richard Buchanan and Mary Elizabeth Foard Snyder.
He was a graduate of City College High School, Baltimore; and the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science; and was employed by the United States Department of Defense.
Mr. Snyder was a member of St. John’s Episcopal Church, Hagerstown.
Surviving is his brother, Robert L. Snyder of Alexandria, Virginia.
The funeral service will be held at the Andrew K. Coffman Funeral Home, 40 East Antietam Street, Hagerstown, Friday, March 30, at 1:30 PM. His pastor, Rev. Ann L. Boyd will officiate. Interment will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hagerstown. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, on hour prior to the service.
