Donald Poper

Mr. Donald Edward Poper, 73, of Hagerstown, died early Thursday morning, January 21, 2021, at Doeys House, Hospice of Washington County, Hagerstown.

Born March 13, 1947, in Hagerstown, he was a son of the late Charles E. and Mildred L. Summers Poper.  He was a veteran of the United States military.

Donald was able to fulfill a lifelong dream of training thoroughbred race horses.

Surviving is his sister Joyce.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Larry.

The Andrew K. Coffman Funeral Home, Hagerstown, is assisting the family with arrangements.  There will not be visiting at the funeral home.  A service will be held privately at a later time.
