Ryan Berger has been dedicated to serving families with compassion and care from a young age. Born and raised in the local community, he developed a deep understanding of the people he serves and a longstanding interest in the funeral profession. From early on, Ryan felt called to help others navigate some of life’s most difficult moments with dignity, respect, and understanding.

With over 30 years of experience in the funeral profession, Ryan brings both knowledge and a steady, reassuring presence to every family he works with. He attended school in Hagerstown and completed mortuary school locally, going on to become licensed in both Pennsylvania and Maryland.

Today, Ryan leads the Andrew K. Coffman Funeral Home with a hands-on, personalized approach. He believes every life is unique, and every service should reflect that—taking the time to truly listen, guide, and support each family he serves.

Known for his calm presence and genuine empathy, Ryan is committed to making a difficult time a little more manageable. Whether helping plan a meaningful tribute or simply being there to answer questions, he strives to provide reassurance and clarity every step of the way.
